Typically, that improvement comes at the cost of a heavier system weight, but that’s not the case with the HPR60. It’s the same weight as the outgoing motor drive used on the previous Lumen 900, but 20% stronger.

Energy management and range are also improved with cooling fins and new software that combine to make the drive unit as efficient as its predecessor despite the additional torque. Lumen 900 SL takes your rides far with its 360Wh main battery that can be complemented with the included Range Extender Battery. The small-water-bottle-sized extender attaches with a quick-release mount or easily stows away in a day pack.
